Col D’Orb, Rouge

The Carignan and Mourvèdre are selected based on their terroir whilst the Syrah and Grenache Noir are harvested according to the individual plots within the vineyards. The grapes are de-stemmed and undergo carbonic maceration where the weight of the fruit naturally gently presses out the juice. Classic red wine vinification techniques are used and the resulting wine is aged in stainless steel vats.

Tasting Notes: – Succulent peppery black fruit aromas with a supporting leather tone. Round and smooth in style, the palate sees bright bramble fruit and ripe berry flavours with fantastic depth. Fine grained tannins provide good structure on a lasting finish.   Food Pairing: – Delicious with grilled meats or goat’s cheese.
